Mass Confusion

Is it me or does every household in America with children start out taking their kids to school in the morning with one child with a shoe in hand , the other with a ceral bar in her mouth, and last but not least the one that says mom I need this paper signed "like yesterday"? It's not like they aren't asked to get up in the morning at the right time. It's as if they walk around like tweenage and teenage zombies until you yell five minutes till we leave. Then with alot of shouting at each other they fight over the bathroom or for room in the kitchen to snatch up a ceral bar or some other sugary substance to eat for breakfast. As you sit in the car with the motor running waiting on a glimpse of one of them running toward the car, you ask yourself what ever happpened to the June Cleaver's and Harriett's (Ozzie's wife) of yesteryear. I"ll tell you whats happened good ole June and Harriett has had to go to work to help Ward And Ozzie provide for the kids. I find myself wondering if June or Harriett had to work back then how would they handle things? And then I remembered an episode I once saw when June took a job, doing what now I don't remember. Ward had to help more around the house. As time went on things began to pile up and not get done as June would do. So see it wouldn't be much different for them than it is for us working moms today. So I'm happy doing what I do. I feel balancing it all is a big deal for todays women. Something that they should be proud of themselves for.
